										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ADU 5 is an autonomous unit, automatically operated through an incorporated monitor. This unit operates at air pressure, according to ASTM D86 (group 0, 1 ,2, 3 and 4), ASTM D1078, ASTM D850, ISO 3405, IP 123 and IP 195 norms. Its method determines oil products characteristics between 0ºC and 400ºC. This products include light and intermidiate distillates, gasoline with or without oxygenates, aviation and navy fuel, diesel fuel, biodiesel mixes with less than 20%, white spirits and special oil spirits.<br />

This unit includes a detillation optimisation program, which creates individual heating curves and allows a precise control over destillation speed.<br />

<li>The horizontal position of the sample table (in the plane of the optical path) is manually adjustable via our magnetic slide system. Movement in the vertical (Z-azis) direction can be achieved via precise adjustment of the hand wheel.</li>
<li>High performance 6x parfocal zoom lens, with integrated continuous fine focus, and adjustable observation and camera tilt angle.</li>
<li>Video measuring system with USB camera (max. 87 images/s sample rate).</li>
<li>Lighting of the optical path, with adjustable intensity without hysteresis.</li>
<li>Single direct dosing system, SD-DM, for use with standard and disposable syringes and needles.</li>
<li>One electronic dosing unit, ES, with software controlled adjustable dosing volume (min. 50 nl) and dosing rate (0.06 µl/s … 26.4 µl/s).</li>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The J-1000 series comprises two equipments directed to two different segments of the market, the model J-1100 suitable for conventional applications and model J-1500 with a range of wavelengths with a bigger wl range for operation from UV to NIR. Both units allow simultaneous measurements of CD and LD in addition to various types of thermostatted accessories . The model J-1500 has a purge system more efficient than previous models, allowing a  significantly more efficient and faster purge. The units include mercury lamp for validation of the system, automatic recognition system, fittings and a cutter for the light beam coming from the xenon lamp to  monochromator to prevent degradation of this when not in use.</p>

<section>The CE 7<em>smart </em>is the fourth generation of SOTAX flow-through cell systems and has been designed as the Apparatus 4 instrument made to overcome potential challenges linked to method development for a variety of dosage forms.</p>

<div>With the Flow-Through Cell, fresh media passes continuously across the dosage form. This is called an open loop system. A semi-automated system allows  samples to be taken simultaneously and collected in a fraction collector  or analyzed directly by UV. Complete fractions or aliquotes can be collected in an Off-line open system. It is also possible to collect samples and analyze them.</div>

<div>USP 4 Fixed and Small Volume Dissolution/Elution Testing&#8230;For small or fixed volume testing, the flow through cell can re-circulate the media across the dosage form. This is called a closed loop system. This can be an on-line closed loop with UV, micro volume autosampler, and even a manual sampling syringe.</div>

<div>The validation of the USP 4 Dissolution Testing system according to the regulations can be done by a SOTAX specially trained service engineer. The USP requires the flow rate and temperature to be qualified.</div>
