JASCO was founded in 1958 to provide the scientific community with Japanese optical spectroscopy products, being the first Japanese company to develop an infrared spectrophotometer.
Over the years JASCO continued to pursue the highest standards in terms of optical performance, ease of use and reliability in their equipment. As a corollary of this way of being, the firm has grown to become a global company with sales and support worldwide.
The JASCO product line has grown to cover other areas of activity, not only in research but also for routine applications in areas such as quality control, environmental analysis and process control. The current line of instrumentation in spectroscopy covers the following methods:
Spectrophotometers UV / visible and near infrared
Fluorescence spectrophotometers
Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometers(FTIR)
FT-Raman spectrometers
Dispersive Raman Spectrometers and Raman Microprobes
Circular Dichroism Spectrometers
Polarimeters Near Field Optical Micro-Spectrometers
Elipsometers
In the product line is still included modular liquid chromatography systems at low and high pressure with different types of detectors from UV / VIS fluorescence, refractive index, chiral detectors, ovens, autosamplers, control systems and special systems for HPLC and supercritical extraction.
JASCO has been an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for a number of companies over the years, providing instrumentation for companies like Waters, Varian, Bio-Rad, LDC, Gilson, Dionex, Beckman and IBM.
